Lokit - locking emotions through geolocated images app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to a new way of sharing your photos based on emotions. From now on you can let your heart be your pilot and guide you to discover the most exciting content you could ever imagine. This is how we do it:

CREATE: upload photos that will remain locked to that particular location

SHARE: publicly or privately with that special person. The receiver will only be able to unlock that photo when located in the same location as the photo was uploaded.

DISCOVER loks (images locked by location) at every step. With Lokit images come to you in the right time and place. If you are far away from the lok, you will see a blurred image that will become unblurred as you get closer to the location where the photo has been uploaded and where all the emotions will come up.

Besides, all the photos you upload to the app will return you magical moments in exchange when you pass by a special location and that particular photo you upload (or someone shared with you) will pop up. That’s what we call “magical micro moments”.

You can use Lokit the best way you can imagine, but here you will find a few ways of getting the best out of the app:

THE FIRST… kiss, date, special day, etc. Upload a photo in a special location for that ONE person that will only be able to see the photo at that magical place, where an ocean of emotions will start flowing.

CELEBRATION: birthday, wedding, graduation… leave a lok as a memory and you and the people you tag will only see it when you pass by

PARTY: let your imagination fly and surprise your guests with Lokit!

EVENT: sports, music, art… any excuse is right to leave a good lok to the people invited to the event.

ANNIVERSARY: the best album you can create. You’ll see every year the pictures from previous years and you will have a lot of fun remembering the good old times ;)

GYMKANA/TREASURE HUNT: organize your own adventures with Lokit!

TRIP/HOLIDAYS: you’ll be able to reveal your secret spots as breadcrumbs for your friends to discover your favorite spots or that unique photos you want to share with them.

NOTE: Please bear in mind that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Lokit does an efficient management of location services to try to minimize the impact of battery consumption.
